In fact, when I saw this post on my Instagram feed, I knew I had to get it for myself…and I did. All in the name of #happybirthdaytome with a side of #supportsmallbusinesses.

Despite ordering before the Spring Equinox holiday, my necklace arrived exactly on the day of my birthday, much faster than I anticipated!

Love the packaging and hand-written note

This is seriously one of those instances where it’s 100% appropriate to use the phrase, “the pictures don’t do it justice!”

I can’t imagine how long it would take to craft a piece this detailed…

Bonus: Me glaring at the sun in my new necklace:

Where To Buy

BASE (for domestic orders, link in Japanese)

ETSY (for domestic and international orders)

BTW: I don’t have an ETSY account so I bought my necklace via BASE and paid by online bank transfer.

If you’re in Tokyo and want to check out their work in person, just email the sisters and arrange a time to stop by their Meguro studio.
