It’s April, the month of rebirths and new starts in Japan. I’m powering through my list of 18 personal and professional goals for 2018.
As my profile says, I’m mom/teacher by day and a writer by night. I’m working on several projects for four different clients at the moment, including a major travel project for the Tokyo metropolitan government. Needless to say, I’m busy all day, every day. It’s hard to get time for myself, but I don’t want to neglect myself, especially my skin!
This post is written in exchange for a free full-sized sample of Brown Black Power of Eyeliner Liquid from Japanese brand LB Cosmetics.
It’s (already? only?) February and I’m ticking off items on my 2018 goal list. I mentioned that I wanted to return to my fashion roots, and here I am with a post about buying makeup in Japan. Excuse me as I unleash my inner Kanye West and proceed to tell you l that that I know all about Japanese makeup since I was a gyaru after all.
It’s a long running gag in the expat community that Japanese will be quick to tell you that Japan is a country of four seasons. But I’ve yet to run into a Japanese person who can tell me why this country is so darn humid in the summer — and dry as a bone in the winter.
Post Pregnancy Weight Loss I don’t want to say “post-baby body” because it’s still the same body. I didn’t switch bodies or upgrade any of my parts. It’s still the same body, technically, but it’s changed. I understand now when moms say, “This body birthed a baby.”
